Project Summary
With the issue of the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the Alabama Coastal Foundation is the first source on the Internet for people living on the Gulf Coast. Optera Creative maintained their existing site and asked us to assist them in the redesign of the Alabama Coastal Foundation website.
We utilized ExpressionEngine as the CMS of choice, and our favorite Content Management System for flexibility. Their old site had a flash based image slideshow on the home page, and we switched that out with a custom jQuery module that we installed so they could easily update the images whenever they'd want. We integrated a blog so they could update visitors on things that are happening around them, and also another "blog" type section for their newsletter with archives.
