Project Summary
Algaonn is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that came out Spring of 2010. This project was developed side-by-side with MyAlganon; a community website where people can interact with others by sharing media, plan events and much more. When we came into the first phase of the Alganon project, their website was extremely slow and filled with heavy flash objects with no direction to guide the user on navigation.
We were in charge of all aspects of the development for Alganon. Redesignins the current website, frontend development such as XHTML, CSS, AJAX and JavaScript - and building the PHP Zend Framework. We took existing Photoshop image files and redesigned the website to give it a game feel - most of the color theme that is still on the website is what we accomplished. The forum, which is IP Based, was also skinned to match the feel and layout of the new website.
Like with MyAlganon, Alganon's design since we completed our portion of the project has been redesigned a few times over.
