La Prensa San Diego is a weekly, bilingual (English/Spanish) newspaper of general circulation in San Diego, California.
Project Summary
La Prensa San Diego was founded in 1976 and is the largest MexicanAmerican newspaper in the City and County of San Diego, CA. They had a website that hadn’t been updated since the 1990’s and had no ability to enter content quickly and rapidly for its readers.
La Prensa San Diego contacted anjstudio to turn it’s old static website into a dynamic rich-filled, user contributed, newspaper website online. They needed a way to enter all of their content quickly by Friday in order for its readers to receive updates by the weekend. We setup them up with WordPress as a basic Content Management System and integrated OpenX for their ad campaign management.
La Prensa San Diego now has a full Newspaper circulation online where users are able to contribute to the community by writing and reading comments and watch videos.
